A shocking incident unfolded at a guest house in Embakasi, Kenya, on an unspecified date in 2019.
A married woman, identified as Mwende, was caught with her secret lover, who claimed to have been dating her for a year.
The two were frequent visitors to the guest house, where they had met to engage in an illicit affair.
Security guards struggled to control the crowds that gathered to witness the scene, which was eventually contained by the intervention of security personnel on patrol.
The woman's husband, who was armed with a machete, stormed the guest house and confronted the lovers.
"I knew your day would come. I have always suspected you were having an extra marital affair. You will regret today," the husband fumed.
It was later revealed that the husband had sought the help of a herbalist, Kasimbi Wa Nzamba, after receiving reports of his wife's infidelity from neighbors.
The herbalist claimed to have solutions to various problems, including troubled marriages, court cases, and spiritual attacks.
He also offered to help barren women conceive, treat STIs, and manage cancer, among other issues.
The lovers were eventually counseled by the herbalist and were willing to give their marriage another chance.
