Noons Club Revives Mombasa's Nightlife Scene

Published on October 31, 2019, Nyali Sun Africa Beach Hotel and Spa's Noons Club has been revamped to cater to the growing demand for nightlife entertainment in Mombasa.

The club, which has been a staple in the region for years, has been revamped to offer a unique experience to its patrons. According to General Manager Sanjeev Kumar, the club aims to give back the real nightlife entertainment and target an increase in higher room rates.

'We are keen to give back the real nightlife entertainment and hope by doing so shall also be targeting increase in higher room rates,' Kumar said.

The club has been fitted with all safety gadgets to ensure revelers' comfort and safety. Wednesdays are Bhangara & Asian nights, Thursdays are common nights for all ages, while Fridays are purely soul nights and Saturdays are for all ages and all tastes.

'We are staging a powerful revival and with the re-introduction of Noons Club, we not only offer employment to a handful of youth but add to the spicy mix of what Nyali Sun Africa Beach Hotel and Spa has to offer,' Kumar added.

The Kenya Association of Hotelkeepers and Caterers (KAHC) Coast branch Chief Executive D. Sam Ikwaye commended Nyali Sun Sun Africa Beach Hotel and Spa for bringing back to life Noons Club in time for the long December holidays.

'The rest of the hotel industry that always used not to care about nightlife entertainment has finally woken up to the idea that not only is design and a distinctive product good business but having various forms of entertainment is good business,' Ikwaye said.
