On Wednesday morning, three grown lions were spotted on the outskirts of Rongai Estate in Nairobi, leaving residents in awe.
According to eyewitnesses, the stray lions were seen laying undisturbed in a bushy compound, sparking concerns for public safety.
However, Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) Strategic Communication Specialist Paul Udoto confirmed that the lions had indeed left Nairobi National Park in the morning but were safely taken back to the park for the safety of the residents.
Residents of Rongai Estate can now breathe a sigh of relief as the lions are back in their natural habitat.
