On October 30, 2019, Sarah Wairimu appeared in court, represented by lawyer Philip Murgor, and explained that she had no clothes and relied on her relatives and friends for assistance.
She requested permission to visit her husband's Kitisuru estate to collect her belongings and car, which she claimed she needed to travel.
However, the court rejected her plea, citing that the car she wanted to take was being used by the late Cohen at the time of his murder.
The case will be heard on Tuesday, the next court date.
Wairimu was released on a KSh 2 million bond after being detained for 44 days.
She had been arrested while trying to visit the estate after the court had announced that a crime had occurred there.
Police investigators found Cohen's body in a septic tank at the estate two months after he went missing.
Autopsy results revealed that Cohen died after being hit on the head with a blunt object.
