On October 30, 2019, Google recognized Churchill Show as the most-subscribed YouTube channel in Kenya, awarding it a Golden Play Button.

The show, hosted by Daniel Ndambuki (Churchill), boasts an impressive 1.07 million subscribers on YouTube.

Other notable vloggers who received awards at the event include the WaJesus Famil, Joanna Kinuthia, Wabosha Maxine, Alex Mathenge, and Waniz Sharon.

The Golden Play Button is the highest award given by Google to YouTube creators, recognizing their exceptional achievement in building a massive following.

Churchill Show was the only channel to receive the Golden Play Button, while the other channels were awarded Silver Play Buttons.

The awards ceremony was held at the Movenpick Hotel and Residences in Nairobi, with notable guests including Amb. (Dr) Amina C. Mohamed, Kenya's Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Culture, and Heritage, and Charles Murito, Google Kenya Country Director.

Churchill Show has been a launching pad for many Kenyan comedians, including Chipukeezy and Eric Omondi, and has gained popularity over the past decade through its unique format of showcasing snippet videos of talented comedians.
