On the second day of the KCPE examinations, October 30, 2019, a candidate from Bridge of Hope Education Centre in Kibra was noticeably absent.
According to classmates, Peter Nicholas had left for his destination before the exam rehearsals on Monday, leaving behind his empty desk.
His classmates claim that the invigilator has been placing Nicholas' exam sheets on his empty desk, writing his name on them before collecting them when the exam time is over.
“Nicholas was not present when we started exams yesterday and even long before the rehearsals. He traveled when we were preparing for exams,” said one classmate.
The school's administration could not be reached for comment.
