On Wednesday, October 30, 2019, police in Machakos shot dead a murder suspect at his home in Katani, Syokimau.
According to reports, the suspect was found with two AK 47 rifles, which belonged to a GSU officer, and spent cartridges that matched the guns were found at the murder scene.
Neighbors reported hearing the sound of gunshots at around 6am and it lasted for about 30 minutes.
Sources close to Citizen Digital alleged that the suspect had been hired to commit the murder of two women, a woman and her daughter, who were shot dead outside their homestead at Kambi estate in Karani, Machakos county on Sunday.
The businesswoman and her mother were shot dead by unknown gunmen outside their home as her mother was opening the gate for her.
The woman's husband was also shot and injured during the fracas and was later rushed to Shalom Community Hospital.
Meanwhile, another suspect, a GSU officer, is in police custody in connection with the murder.
