On October 30, 2019, news broke out about Terence Creative, a Kenyan social media influencer, who had cheated on his wife Milly Chebby with a 19-year-old environmentalist named Anita Soina.
According to reports, Terence admitted to cheating on his wife during a Q&A session with his fans, stating that he was tempted by the devil.
'Yes, I did (cheat), and through it, I've learnt my lesson. Milly and I will talk about it someday,' Terence said.
He also claimed that he was tempted by the devil, saying 'Shetani huja kwa njia mingi, ashindwe kabisa. Haki sitarudia tena.'
Meanwhile, Anita Soina, the woman at the center of the scandal, has also spoken out about her experience with Terence. In a statement, she expressed regret over her actions, saying 'I AM REALLY SORRY TO MYSELF, I OWN UP KNOWING THAT EVERYBODY HAS UNTOLD STORIES. I'M SORRY TO SELF FOR FINDING MYSELF IN SUCH A SITUATION THAT HAS COST ME EVERYTHING DEAR TO ME. I'M SORRY FOR LETTING DOWN FELLOW LADIES AND I'M NOT SORRY FOR SPEAKING UP.'
She also alleged that Terence had been abusive towards her, saying 'A point where someone puts you in a tough situation that you ain’t used to and instead of waiting for the wound to heal, he (Terence) keeps poking it.. calling me names and sending funny messages so as to use it against me.'
