Citizen TV's Hussein Mohammed Bids Farewell After 10 Years ¶
On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, Citizen TV reporter Hussein Mohammed hosted his last show at the station after ten years of service.
As he bid farewell to his colleagues and fans, Hussein received outpouring farewell messages and admiration from fans and admirers, including government officials and celebrities.
Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga described Hussein as one of the best interviewers the station had, praising his ability to ask questions that interviewees would sometimes find irritating, but he was persistent.
"He struck me as someone who did his homework and knew answers to the questions he asked," said Raila.
Other notable figures who sent messages of goodwill to Hussein included Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru, Devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa, Members of Parliament Sabina Chege and Babu Owino, ODM chairman John Mbadi, and Hussein's former boss and Lands CS Farida Karoney.

As Hussein Mohammed exits Citizen TV, he leaves behind a legacy of impeccable, objective, and candid journalism.
