Buying a car is often seen as a status symbol in Kenya, but for those who have already made it to the elite class, it's about more than just looking good.
TV star Betty Kyalo, a well-known figure in Kenya's elite society, recently shared her thoughts on what she looks for in a car, and it's not just about functionality.

"I want a sassy and a sexy car because I want to look good in it. To me it's not just about being able to drive from point A to point B but doing it passionately," she said. But sexiness is not the only trait Betty looks for in a car. She also values heritage and history, saying, "Car companies that have come from so far and you can actually see the process of growth from the first car to what they are right now. They have a story about how they started and you can trust the car." "Car companies that have come from so far and you can actually see the process of growth from the first car to what they are right now. They have a story about how they started and you can trust the car," she added. However, Betty's job at K24 is reportedly in jeopardy, and she may be among the candidates to be let go in a recent purge at the media house.
