Published on October 30, 2019, Bandari FC's captain Felly Mulumba is optimistic about the team's chances of making history in the CAF Confederations Cup.

Despite losing 4-2 to Horoya AC in their first clash in Conakry, Guinea, Mulumba believes that the team has what it takes to turn the game around and reach the group stage.

Horoya AC were the hot favourites heading to the tie, with their vast experience on continental football tipping them to overcome a Bandari scare.

However, the Dockers produced an energetic display in Guinea, and Mulumba has urged football fans across the country to get behind them for support to help knock out Horoya at Kasarani on Sunday.

“We need the support of all Kenyans and let’s do our part. We are determined to make them feel proud in Nairobi,” Mulumba said.

According to statistics, Horoya AC has struggled on away assignments, managing only one win and losing the other six games since April 2014. On the other hand, Bandari FC has been solid at home, managing one win and two draws in their three games in the CAFCC since their debut in 2016.
