Gor Mahia is set to face Motema Pembe in the return leg of the CAF Confederation Cup playoffs on November 3, 2019, in Kinshasa, DRC.
The Kenyan giants will travel to Kinshasa on November 1, 2019, after the government agreed to cater for their travel expenses.
Club deputy secretary general Ronald Ngala confirmed that the team will depart on November 1 at 1pm CAT and will have a feel of the pitch on November 2 before facing Motema Pembe on November 3.
In the first leg played on October 27, 2019, at Kasarani, Gor Mahia fought to a 1-1 draw despite taking the lead in the 62nd minute through Ivorian Yikpe Ghislain.
The team will need at least a 1-0 win to progress to the group stages where they can win up to Sh27 million.
Coach Steven Pollack remains optimistic about the team's chances, saying that pressure is for the tyres and that he has identified areas that need improvement.
However, he will be concerned about his defense following the injury of two dependable players, Shafique Batambuze and Philemon Otieno, and the suspension of Charles Momanyi.
