Published on October 29, 2019, Kariobangi Sharks coach William Muluya is eager to see his team secure maximum points against Zoo Kericho this weekend.
Sharks were held to a 1-1 draw against Nzoia Sugar at the Sudi Stadium last weekend, and Muluya is confident that his team can improve their performance against Zoo Kericho.
"We need to score goals, my boys are not giving me what I want, we need to push hard in our next assignment against Zoo, we have to pocket the three points at any cost," Muluya said.
Sharks have struggled in their 2019/20 Kenyan Premier League campaign, managing only one win so far, which came against Chemelil in early October. They have drawn four times and lost twice in their seven matches.
On the other hand, Zoo Kericho has had a poor run in the season, with only one win in early September against Chemelil. They have drawn one match and lost five so far.
Notably, Zoo Kericho has failed to keep a clean sheet in six of their last seven games, with the opening goal scored within 20 minutes in three of those matches.
