President Yoweri Museveni's latest attempt to win over the youth has backfired, with Bobi Wine slamming the move as 'folly of dictatorship'. The President's son, Elijah Nsubuga, also known as 'Ghetto Commander', contributed Ksh.2,700 to his father's 'expenses' to dispel claims that youth have no money.

However, Bobi Wine has dismissed the move, saying that the President has impoverished, marginalized, and ignored the ghetto for 34 years. 'Tired of indignity, the ghetto rose up to speak- led by the Ghetto President. He dismissed us. We persisted. Very scared & desperate, he now returns as 'Man of Ghetto.' The sheer lack of shame,' Bobi Wine said.

Some Ugandans have also expressed their disapproval, accusing the President of dishonesty and treachery. 'You'll pull all stunts to appeal to the ghetto youths after abandoning them and arresting them for a long time, but one thing am sure of is they'll eat that ka-money and vote for a fellow ghetto yut for he speaks their language and understands their hustle. So 'memba daat!,' one Steve Kizire said.
