Former President Daniel Moi's health continues to deteriorate, with doctors now rejecting a plan to airlift him abroad for intensified treatment.

According to sources, the decision was made due to concerns that Moi's fragile health would not be able to withstand the grueling journey.

Just two weeks after being discharged from the same hospital, Moi was rushed back in with difficulty breathing, and has since been placed in the Intensive Care Unit.

Visitors to the hospital have been restricted, with only Moi's children allowed to see him, and even they are subject to strict access controls.

Doctors at the Nairobi hospital have been instructed not to allow any visitors to see Moi, who is 95 years old and fighting for his life.
