On October 25, 2019, a Kenyan woman identified as Munira traveled to Tanzania and camped outside the Wasafi offices, determined to win the heart of Bongo musician Mbosso.
According to Munira, she had been in love with Mbosso since his days with Yamoto Band and was willing to do anything to be with him, including taking her own life.
'I love him. There are so many men in Kenya that want to marry me but I'm not ready. I came to look for Mbosso and I'm ready to do anything,' Munira said.
She further disclosed that Mbosso gave her TSh10,000 and told her to go back home, but she refused.
When asked about the drama, Mbosso, a signee of WCB, said he is a family man and that he wants Munira to go home.
'I cannot blame her for that, she says she loves me but its hard to accept her love because I have a family and children to take care of and a lot of things to do. Getting into a relationship with someone from nowhere I can say is just stupidity,' Mbosso said.
