On October 28, 2019, Goldenscape, a local agribusiness company, merged with Silverstone Property sellers to offer investors a unique opportunity to own land and lease greenhouses.

The new offer allows investors to own land in prime spots in major towns in Kenya by contributing 85 per cent of Sh500,000 capital of the home through roll over from their Agribusiness returns and pay in flexible instalments.

According to Goldenscape Group chairman Peter Wangai, the decision to merge the two projects was driven by the high demand from clients who have enjoyed returns from the greenhouses.

The company plans to launch their agribusiness model of land ownership countrywide after a successful 100-acre pilot phase in Laikipia County, which started in April last year.

Goldenscape has already seen success with their lease a greenhouse project, where over 500 investors earned more than Sh30 million from the sale of horticultural produce grown in their leased greenhouses.

The firm also sells the groceries on behalf of the owners, partnering with over 3,000 grocery stores to stock and sell the produce.
