As the national KCPE examination commences, Education Principal Secretary Dr Belio Kipsang has confirmed that examination papers have arrived in all 479 containers countrywide.

Speaking at Nairobi primary school on Monday, Dr Kipsang assured that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure a smooth examination process, including mobilizing machinery to deliver papers to areas experiencing climatic challenges such as Samburu, Turkana, Isiolo, and Marsabit.

Dr Kipsang further stated that all center managers would take charge of the examination centers starting Monday, working closely with supervisors and invigilators to facilitate the exercise for the next three days.

According to Dr Kipsang, the Ministry of Interior, Teacher Service Commission (TSC), and the Ministry of Information Communication and Technology are working together to ensure the smooth running of the examination exercise.

Dr Kipsang assured candidates that they would deliver the results they have been working for in the last eight years, with all 27,000 examination centers adequately planned for.

Kenya National Examination Council Chief Executive Officer Mercy Gathigia also assured candidates that the examinations were ready, with all systems set, and that they would protect the candidates and prevent malpractices.

Regional Director of Education in Nairobi Jared Obiero confirmed that all institutions were prepared, with supervisors and invigilators in place, and that a conducive environment would be provided for the candidates throughout the examination period.
