Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has spoken of his relief at the team's 3-1 win over Norwich, their first Premier League away victory in eight months.
However, the 46-year-old Norwegian has revealed that he has been hurt by the team's results this season, despite a recent upturn in form.
The team's victory over Norwich saw them rise from 15th to 7th in the Premier League standings, but they remain 15 points off leaders Liverpool and 9 points behind city rivals Manchester City.
Solskjaer made a promising start as caretaker manager when he replaced Jose Mourinho in December, but the team's results and performances have since declined.
Despite the criticism he has faced, Solskjaer claimed that he had not read the negative press about him, saying 'The ones that need to trust me and the ones that matter, they don't mind.'
He also praised the performance of French striker Anthony Martial, who scored and missed a penalty in the win over Norwich.
'This had been a good week for us,' Solskjaer said. 'It started with a decent performance against Liverpool and now two wins away from home. It gives the players confidence and momentum.'
