Manchester United's Paul Pogba has been dealing with an ankle injury since August, limiting his appearances in the Premier League to just five games this season.
Despite initial hopes that he would return for the Carabao Cup clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Pogba will be out for at least another month.
According to Solskjaer, Pogba will not be back on the pitch before December, as he needs time to fully recover from the injury.
"I don't think we'll see Paul maybe before December. He'll be out for a while. He needs time to fully, fully recover, so I don't think he'll be back," Solskjaer said.
"Maybe after the international break - but probably December before you see him. I'm not the doctor, but there is an injury there that needs healing. It is his ankle rather than his foot," he added.
Pogba suffered the injury in Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Southampton at St Mary's before returning in the Carabao Cup against Rochdale. He then featured five days later in United's 1-1 draw with Arsenal on September 30, but has been out of action ever since.
