On Saturday night, Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones took to the stage at the Guinness Smooth launch party in Kisumu, ready to deliver a memorable performance.

However, things took a surprising turn when he stepped off the stage to mingle with his fans, leaving his silver chain behind.

A fan seized the opportunity to relieve Khaligraph of the chain, estimated to be worth Sh60,000.

Despite the unfortunate incident, Khaligraph Jones remained in high spirits, thanking the organizers for the opportunity to perform and assuring the crowd that he would have done it for free.

“Wameenda mpaka na chain, but ni sawa sisi tunapeana kila kitu. Kisumu nawapenda bado juu hata hii show niliambia organizers nitapiga free. So mjue hivyo ndio nawapenda,” Khaligraph said after getting back on stage.

After the show, Khaligraph revealed the true value of the stolen chain, stating that it was worth Sh60,000 but was a small price to pay for the joy of entertaining the crowd.

“Hiyo chain wameenda nayo ilikuwa ya 60K but hizo ni vitu ndogo mimi nilikuja kuua show,” he said.

This incident is not the first time Khaligraph Jones has given away his valuables to fans, having previously gifted a fan a pair of his Air Jordan sneakers at the Nakuru Blaze festival.
