On October 28, 2019, a Silverstone Airlines Dash 8-300 plane heading to Nairobi from Lodwar lost its number 3 wheel assembly during takeoff, prompting an emergency landing at Eldoret airport.
According to the airline, contingency plans were activated, and alternative flights were booked for all passengers on board.
However, this incident is not the first time Silverstone Airlines has faced safety concerns. Just recently, the airline was criticized for its poor post-crash crisis management after one of its planes crashed during takeoff at Wilson airport.
Netizens have taken to social media to ridicule the airline, sharing memes and expressing their concerns about the safety of Silverstone Airlines.
