Chinese billionaire Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba, has thrown down the gauntlet to American boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, challenging him to a boxing fight.
Ma's challenge was made in a video posted by Manny Pacquiao, who also urged Mayweather to come out of retirement and face Ma.
Mayweather, who retired from boxing in 2015 after a storied career with over 50 wins and no losses, has been tempted to return to the ring.
Ma, 55, confirmed his readiness to face Mayweather, saying 'I am ready. Any time, any place, Manny's team is ready,'
Pacquiao first fought Mayweather in 2015, and is now seeking a rematch with the American.
It remains to be seen whether Mayweather will accept Ma's challenge and come out of retirement to face him.
