The aircraft, which was carrying four passengers and five crew members, landed safely.
According to reports, the aircraft was on its way from Lodwar to Nairobi when the incident occurred.
Before the emergency landing, the crew had prepared for an emergency situation.
This incident comes two weeks after passengers were injured in a crash involving a Silverstone aircraft at the Wilson Airport in Nairobi.
