On October 28, 2019, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi was attacked by rowdy youths in Kibra, leaving him with slight injuries to his neck and backbone.

While accompanying Eliud Owalo's campaign trail in Kibra, Mudavadi was pelted with stones, resulting in severe pain in his left thigh.

Medics discovered a large lump in his gluteal muscles and performed an ultrasound, revealing a hematoma the size of a small egg.

Dr. Reinhard Okong'o stated, 'We will remove the blood under ultrasound guidance and the problem will be gone.'
