ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi was attacked by rowdy youths in Kibra on October 28, 2019, leaving him with slight injuries on the neck and backbone.

According to reports, Mudavadi had accompanied Eliud Owalo's campaign trail in Kibra and might undergo a minor surgery on his left thigh after it was discovered that he had severe pain.

Medics performed a quick ultrasound that revealed a hematoma the size of a small egg from the fall, and Dr. Reinhard Okong'o stated, 'We will remove the blood under ultrasound guidance and the problem will be gone.'
