On Sunday, Liverpool staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at Anfield, maintaining their six-point lead at the top of the Premier League. The match, played on October 27, 2019, saw Tottenham take an early lead with Harry Kane's header after Son Heung-min's deflected shot hit the crossbar.

However, Liverpool's Jordan Henderson equalized after the break, and Mo Salah sealed the win with a penalty kick, completing the comeback. Tottenham's goalkeeper, Paulo Gazzaniga, made several impressive saves to keep his team ahead at halftime.

Despite a strong start, Tottenham's momentum waned, and Liverpool's pressure eventually paid off. Henderson's goal, his first league goal at Anfield since December 2015, marked a turning point in the match. The win marked Liverpool's 11th consecutive home victory in the Premier League.

Tottenham, meanwhile, have slumped to 11th place in the Premier League table, eight points behind the Champions League qualification spots.
