On October 27, 2019, Arsenal's match against Crystal Palace ended in a disappointing 2-2 draw at the Emirates.

David Luiz and Sokratis gave the Gunners a two-goal lead in the first half, but the Eagles responded with goals from Luka Milivojevic and Jordan Ayew.

Palace reduced the deficit to 2-1 from the penalty spot through Milivojevic in the 32nd minute, after the VAR overturned Wilfred Zaha's booking for a dive.

It was all squared in the London derby as James McArthur's found Ayew at the near post who made no mistake to nod home five minutes after the break.

But there was late drama at the Emirates as Arsenal thought they had got themselves back in front through Sokratis, only for VAR to rule Milivojevic was fouled in the build up to the goal.
