On Saturday evening, a cheating husband in Kisii was caught in a compromising situation with his housegirl, leaving his wife shocked and embarrassed.
The man, identified as Gwaro, a father of three, had been married to his wife for 15 years. Neighbours claimed that Gwaro had a history of cheating, often faking emergencies to meet his girlfriends.
According to neighbours, Gwaro's tactics included faking a journey to his rural home in Nyeri and then meeting with his girlfriends. His wife had grown tired of his ways and had even visited a herbalist, Ndumba wa Ndumba, a month earlier to seek help.
On Friday morning, Gwaro told his wife that he was heading to Nyeri for a Ruracio function, but on Saturday morning, his in-laws called his wife, asking about his whereabouts. She decided to investigate and went to Kisii town, where she found her husband's car near a nightclub with tinted windows.
She approached the car and was shocked to see her husband and the housegirl, Monica, in a compromising position. The two were whisked away to the police station, still entangled and wailing in pain.
It emerged that Monica had left the previous day, claiming to visit her sick mother in Narok. The incident has left the community talking, with many questioning Gwaro's actions.
As reported by a local publication on October 27, 2019, Gwaro's wife had previously confided in a friend, saying, "It is astonishing if he can sleep with our housemaid. They will never play with me again." She had also contacted Ndumba wa Ndumba, who had set a trap to catch Gwaro if he dared sleep with any of his girlfriends.
