On Sunday, October 27, 2019, Deputy President William Ruto made a grand entrance in Kibra during a by-election campaign for Jubilee aspirant McDonald Mariga.
DP Ruto landed with a helicopter at Lindi bypass grounds, where Jubilee candidate Mariga was holding a rally, drawing a large crowd.
Earlier, Ruto attended a church service at Karatina Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) in Mathira Constituency, Nyeri county.
His helicopter arrival at the rally grounds was a spectacle, attracting the crowd's attention and joining the leaders addressing the gathering.
