Published on October 27, 2019, Bahati MP Onesmus Ngunjiri has accused the Jubilee government of neglecting his constituency despite being one of the loyal Jubilee MPs to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
According to Ngunjiri, despite Bahati Constituents overwhelmingly voting Jubilee in the 2017 general elections, the constituency had nothing to show in terms of development projects.
Speaking in Nakuru town on Friday, October 25, MP Ngunjiri stated that Bahati constituency led with 82% in voting Jubilee administration yet there is no development in the constituency and even the roads are not tarmacked.
The outspoken lawmaker lamented that Bahati people are feeling the pain of being neglected by the Jubilee administration since there is no development and even the roads are impassable.
Ngunjiri threatened to lead his constituents to reject the Build the Bridges Initiative (BBI) if the government will not address their issue, adding that Bahati people elected him to represent their interests and if the BBI will go against the wishes of the constituents, he will stand with them to reject it.
