On October 25, 2019, Kanye West released his new album, Jesus is King, which has been a subject of interest for many fans and critics alike.

West, a self-proclaimed Christian, has been open about his spiritual journey and how it has influenced his music. In an exclusive interview, he revealed that he had set certain conditions for his associates working on the album, including fasting and abstaining from premarital sex.

“I was asking people to fast during the album. There were times where I was asking people not to have premarital sex while they were working on the album,” West said in the interview.

West also spoke about his past struggles with addiction, including his exposure to pornography at a young age and his addiction to sex after the death of his mother. He credited his wife, Kim Kardashian, with helping him overcome these struggles.

However, West's comments on premarital sex caused friction with his wife, who was seen visibly upset in a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The couple had an argument over Kim's Thiery Mugler dress, which West felt was too tight.

“I went through this transition where being a rapper, looking at all these girls and looking at my wife, like, ‘Oh my girl needs to be just like the other girls showing their body off,’” West said. “I didn’t realize that that was affecting my soul and my spirit as someone who is married and the father of now … about to be four kids.”
