Published on October 27, 2019, Manchester City's 3-0 win over Aston Villa has put pressure on Liverpool's title challenge.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was unimpressed with his team's performance in the first half, describing it as 'relegation form.'

Guardiola praised Raheem Sterling for his attacking play, saying he was the only player who was aggressive when City had the ball.

However, in the second half, City imitated Sterling's aggressive play, scoring three goals to see off a determined Villa side.

Guardiola expressed his confidence in City's title challenge, saying, 'If we play at the level we did in the second half, we can be there until the end of the season.'

Meanwhile, Liverpool can restore their six-point advantage if they beat Tottenham on Sunday, but the Reds go into that game knowing they now have the defending champions breathing down their neck.
