The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) has rescheduled its recruitment exercise, which was earlier cancelled on October 16, 2019, following protests over changes in recruitment centres.
According to a statement issued on October 26, 2019, the exercise will now take place between November 27 and December 16, 2019.
Candidates who had earlier applied to join the KDF have been directed to submit fresh applications to the Ministry of Defence.
Defence force constables and general duty recruitment will be done by KDF teams at sub-county levels.
Applicants are advised to send their applications to the Defence headquarters.
The recruitment exercise aims to bring on board general service officers, specialist officers, tradesmen and tradeswomen, and cadets.
On October 16, 2019, the recruitment exercise was cancelled due to protests over changes in enlisting centres.
