KDF Bus Accident Leaves Two Dead in Nakuru

On Friday evening, a tragic accident occurred in Dundori, Bahati, Nakuru County, when a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) bus lost control and rammed into a 14-seater matatu belonging to Nyamakima Sacco.

The incident happened near the Lanet Barracks around 6:50 pm, resulting in the deaths of two people on the spot.

According to eyewitnesses, several vendors were injured, and their merchandise was badly damaged in the accident.

Nakuru County Police Commander, Stephen Matu, confirmed the incident, stating that he was waiting for the area OCPD to confirm the number of injured people.

The deceased were taken to the Nakuru Level 5 Hospital morgue, while the injured are being treated at the same hospital.
