Maureen Waititu, a mother of two, has spoken candidly about her decision to quit her job after giving birth to her second child. In a recent interview on her YouTube channel, she reflected on the experience, saying it was the best decision she made.

Published on October 26, 2019, Maureen shared her story, revealing that she quit her job three months after giving birth, despite being in debt and unsure of her next steps. She recalled the challenges of being a mother, saying, 'A mother's life revolves around constant worry.'

Maureen, a lawyer by profession, took a deliberate break from her career to focus on her children. She explained that she had planned to take a sabbatical of three to five years to allow her children to form a strong bond with her. However, with the arrival of her second child, she extended her break by two years.

Before becoming a full-time mother, Maureen gained recognition as a video vixen in Nameless' song 'Inspire' in 2016. She credited the opportunity with opening doors for her and inspiring women. Maureen also spoke about the challenges of balancing motherhood and a career, saying, 'If you are a career woman, you know, we live with guilt and not knowing if we are doing the right thing for our kids.'
