President Uhuru Kenyatta's latest foreign tour has seen him travel in style, with a luxury private jet at his disposal.
According to flightradar24.com, an online aircraft tracking website, the Airbus A318-112 (cj) elite A6-CAS was hired from Dubai-based Constellation Aviation Services (CAS) for the trip.
On Sunday, the jet landed in Mombasa from Jaipur, India, at 5:33 pm, before taking off again at 8:24 pm to refuel at Almaty International Airport in Kazakhstan.
From there, the jet continued on to Tokyo, Japan, where Kenyatta was scheduled to attend the Enthronement of Emperor Naruhito.
After the ceremony, the jet flew back to Almaty for refueling before departing for Sochi, Russia, where Kenyatta is currently attending the first Russia-Africa Summit.
The Airbus A318-112(cj) elite offers a range of luxurious amenities, including three spacious cabins, a VIP lounge, private office, and high-speed internet.
President Kenyatta is expected to return to Kenya on Saturday, accompanied by his First Lady, Margret, and Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary, Monica Juma, among others.
