On October 25, 2019, Leicester City made history by equaling the biggest ever win in Premier League history with a 9-0 rout of Southampton at St Mary's Stadium in Southampton, United Kingdom.

Leicester City's Ayoze Perez and Jamie Vardy both scored hat-tricks in the match, which saw Brendan Rodgers' side move to second place in the Premier League table.

The win, which was the biggest ever away win in Premier League history, left Leicester City five points behind unbeaten leaders Liverpool, but they would drop back to third place if Manchester City beat Aston Villa on the next matchday.
