FKF Ordered to Pay Former Harambee Stars Coach KSh 55 Million ¶

Former Harambee Stars coach Bobby Williamson has won a case against the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) and is set to be paid KSh 55 million in compensation for wrongful dismissal.
Williamson was sacked in 2016 after a poor string of results, but he challenged his sacking in court and was awarded the compensation by the Employment and Labour Court.
FKF boss Nick Mwendwa has vowed to appeal the decision, citing issues with Williamson's handling of his duties as the reason for his dismissal.
However, Williamson has denied these allegations, stating that he was paid KSh 15 million by the FKF in cash, which is not recorded.
Williamson's case is the latest in a series of wrongful dismissal cases against the FKF, with another former Harambee Stars coach, Adel Amrouche, being awarded KSh 108 million in compensation by the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland, just two weeks ago.
