On October 25, 2019, the Kenya Volleyball Federation league concluded its regular season at the Kapsabet showground in Nandi County, with the top four teams securing their spots in the play-offs.

General Service Unit (GSU) finished the league unbeaten with 32 points from 11 matches, while Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) secured second place with 29 points. Kenya Prisons and Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) rounded out the top four with 29 and 24 points, respectively.

GSU's captain, Ibrahim Odour, expressed relief at making the play-offs, despite a less-than-ideal finish to the regular season.

"It's not the way we would have liked to end the regular season, but it's what it is, and I'm just glad that we made it to the last four," Odour said.

Meanwhile, in the women's category, Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) secured a spot in the play-offs, along with KCB, Kenya Pipeline, and champions Kenya Prisons. DCI's team manager, Neddy Kilimo, expressed excitement at the team's progress and their prospects for the play-offs.

"We are extremely happy with the overall development. However, we are aware the real battle awaits us in the play-offs as it will be our first time, and that's why we want to start preparations early," Kilimo said.
