'Jalango was my ex's biggest worry' Akothee opens up on her insecure bae

Kenyan singer and self-proclaimed President of Single Mothers, Akothee, has revealed how her ex-boyfriend's jealousy almost ruined her relationship with Milele FM radio presenter Jalango.

According to Akothee, her ex-boyfriend would often 'stalk' her and her followers just to keep tabs on her life. He would also send her long, toxic messages accusing her of flirting with other men.

'One of my ex-boyfriends gets mad at me after every show,' Akothee wrote. 'I wake up in the morning with a long toxic message, him accusing me of flirting with other men.'

Akothee went on to reveal that her ex-boyfriend's insecurities were a major reason their relationship did not work out. He would get upset whenever she danced with other men on stage or appeared in music videos with romantic scenes.

'He doesn't want any man to be near me or dance with any one on stage,' Akothee wrote. 'He doesn't allow any romance in my music videos.'

Akothee also revealed that her ex-boyfriend would follow her on social media and analyze her posts, questioning why she called Jalango her 'dahm best friend' and business partner.

'Jalango was his biggest worry and he was questioning why I call him baby,' Akothee wrote. 'Jalango is my dahm best friend and a business partner, alah! this boy doesn't know me.'

Akothee advised her ex-boyfriend to leave her alone, saying that she is not a normal wife or girlfriend and needs an abnormal man to understand her.

'It's like taming an eagle to be your chicken,' Akothee wrote. 'this damn eagle will fly anyway, men should just leave me alone.'

She also revealed that she will never drop her career for a man, saying that she is at work and can never be a pet or a normal girlfriend.

'I am not datable, I can't be a pet, I am too rough, yes it's me not them,' Akothee wrote. 'DON'T FOLLOW MY RELATIONSHIP GOALS. I HAVE FAILED TERRIBLY PLEASE FOLLOW YOUR MOTHER FOR RELATIONSHIP, AND FOLLOW ME FOR FUN.'

However, Akothee was quick to point out that she is happy for those in healthy relationships, saying that she is happy for those in perfect relationships.
