Vanessa Mdee, a Tanzanian singer, has been dating American actor Rotimi, also known as Olurotimi Akinosho, according to recent sightings at South Beach, Miami, Florida.
However, their romance has been met with body-shaming on social media, with some users making derogatory comments about Rotimi's appearance.
One Instagram user posted a photo of Rotimi, body-shaming him and claiming that his nose could 'finish the available oxygen for human beings.'
Responding to the post, Zari, a Kenyan socialite, came to Rotimi's defense, warning haters to leave the couple alone.
'Ndomana wanume tunawaficha sikuizi. Instagram inlaws have no chills. There is no one perfect. Leave Vee alone,' Zari wrote in the comment section.
Vanessa Mdee has confirmed that she and Rotimi have been seeing each other, stating that they have been keeping their relationship private.
'Nipo Miami ndio na Mpenzi wangu, sio siri kwamba tuna mahusiano, its not a secret. But we would like to keep our relationship private. We love and respect each other so much and wanna keep building,' Mdee said in a call interview.
