Wazito FC has appointed Melos Medo as its new head coach, barely a week after parting ways with Fred Ambani and Stanley Okumbi. The decision comes after a string of poor results since the club's promotion back to the Kenyan Premier League.

Medo, an Egyptian-American coach, has previously managed Sofapaka and Mount Kenya United. However, his last two assignments in the KPL have been marked by inconsistent results, with a mix of wins, losses, and draws.

Medo's first stint at Mount Kenya United was marked by financial woes, which he managed to navigate despite the challenges. He later joined Sofapaka FC but left after just seven matches, citing sabotage from club officials.

Despite his past struggles, Medo is optimistic about his new role at Wazito, which boasts a star-studded team and a significant budget. However, the club's experience in the KPL has been disappointing, with just one win in six matches.

Wazito's new coach faces a daunting task in turning around the club's fortunes. With a chance to make a mark in their first season back, the team desperately needs to get its momentum going.
