On October 25, 2019, Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo made history by winning the prestigious African Entertainer of the Year award, a testament to his hard work and dedication to his craft.
His ex-wife, Rema Namakula, who is now married to Dr. Hamza Ssebunya, took to social media to congratulate him on his achievement, sending a sweet message to her former husband.
According to an undisclosed source, Rema's message read: '…yeah, mukyala musawo is very happy for taata Aamal. Talina buzibu bwona naye. In fact yesterday on Sunday she sent him a message after winning award. Ate ne Musaawo teyefirayo kuba akimanyi nti Rehema ne Musuuza bamukwono yadde bayawukana.'
Kenzo's win was a major upset, as he beat out notable artists like Davido, Platnumz, and Wizkid to take home the award.
