Former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga has been spotted wearing one glove on several occasions, leaving many wondering why he prefers to do so.

According to activist Boniface Mwangi, Mutunga was challenged by a student at the school where Mwangi was speaking, who asked him why he wears one glove.

Mutunga, known for his love of children, was forced to respond in a way that seemed to downplay the issue.

"I have two grandfathers, one male and one female, both of whom wore gloves and in 2003 when I was a student, they instructed me to wear one glove to protect myself," Mutunga said.

It is worth noting that Mutunga has been seen wearing one glove even when he was in court and has even joked about it not coming off.
