Published on October 24, 2019, these tips will help you become a better kisser.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced kisser, there's always room for improvement. Here are six tips to help you become a good kisser:
1. Pay attention to your partner's lead ¶
Take charge if you must, but make sure you're playing by your own rules. Pay attention to your partner's lead and make the process as smooth as possible.
2. No teeth! ¶
One of the worst kissing moments is when someone comes in to kiss you and their teeth are there, knocking against your teeth. Teeth are not part of kissing, so make sure to keep them out of the way.
3. Pause for air ¶
Take a break for a moment to take a breath. You can whisper something sweet or sexy, or just stare at your partner. Just make sure you're gasping for air.
4. Don't be too wet ¶
Ensure you're not producing excess spit. Kissing is wet, but try not to drool. And by try, I mean don't.
5. Tilt your head ¶
When you go in for a kiss, tilt your head a little to the left or right, depending on the side the initiator tilts. Avoid going straight forward, or you'll either get a quick peck or bump heads.
6. A little bit of tongue goes a long way ¶
When you're kissing someone more deeply and tongues get involved, don't stick your whole tongue in their mouth. Just use a little of your tongue, and be gentle while you're at it.
