On October 23, 2019, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his entourage embarked on a series of high-profile trips to Tokyo, Japan, and Sochi, Russia, aboard a luxury private jet.
The Airbus A318-112(cj) elite, hired from Dubai-based Constellation Aviation Services (CAS), was tracked by flightradar24.com as it made stops in Mombasa, Almaty, and Jaipur.
According to the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit, President Kenyatta attended the Enthronement of Emperor Naruhito in Tokyo, where he was among over 170 world leaders in attendance.
From Tokyo, the private jet flew back to Almaty, before departing for Sochi, Russia, where President Kenyatta is attending the first Russia-Africa Summit, alongside 47 heads of state from Africa.
Interestingly, the private jet has already departed Sochi for Jaipur, India, as President Kenyatta and his team attend a two-day conference.
CAS, the private jet's owner, promises its customers discretion, elegance, and safety, with bespoke travel solutions tailored to their needs.
Established in 2011, CAS also operates a Bombardier Global Express, which offers faster and farther-reaching travel, with spacious cabins for VIP transport.
