On October 24, 2019, a three-year-old girl named Kamille McKinney was abducted from a birthday party in Birmingham, Alabama. Her disappearance sparked a massive search effort, but unfortunately, her remains were later found.
According to authorities, Kamille's remains were positively identified, but the cause and time of death are yet to be established. The remains were found inside a dumpster in a landfill, not far from the apartment complex where she was last seen.
Two suspects, Patrick Stallworth and Derick Brown, have been arrested in connection with Kamille's disappearance. The suspects were identified after witnesses connected them to a vehicle spotted on video footage recorded on the day Kamille went missing.
Police released surveillance footage showing the two men outside the housing complex where Kamille was seen last on the night she disappeared. The video shows one man walking past her and another child, and later, another man stops and appears to talk to them. The video ends just after the two children follow the second man out of view of the camera.
Kamille's father, Dominic McKinney, had begged for her return in a desperate plea to the public. He said, 'Drop her off anywhere and let her out. Somebody will see her. Everybody knows what's going on and that will be the end of that. We just want the baby back.'
