A local resident revealed that the man's wife had accused him of being a cheat, claiming that he had been looking for other women while they were still married.
The wife allegedly told her husband, 'Since we got married, I have been the one searching for property. You have been bleeding me dry and telling me you are busy. I will not tolerate living with a man like you.'
The man, identified as Kalameni, was said to have been infuriated by his wife's words and threatened to sue her for defamation, accusing her of calling him a cheat.
According to Taifa Leo, the man's wife had followed him to their home and told him to leave, but he refused, leading to a heated argument.
The wife was quoted as saying, 'You will explain in court why you are calling me a cheat. I will not tolerate being called a cheat.'
