Kenyan socialite Huddah Monroe has sparked controversy with her recent comments on motherhood, warning women against having children before securing their financial stability.

According to Huddah, women should prioritize their careers and financial security before bringing children into the world, citing the challenges of raising kids on a limited income.

"Don't bring kids in this life if you have no capability of feeding them! Or giving them an education or healthcare!" Huddah emphasized in a recent interview.

She also criticized women who rush into motherhood without being financially prepared, saying that they often end up struggling to provide for their children's basic needs.

"That stupid mentality of kids are a blessing needs to die out. Bless their environment first, then bring them. Kids don't come out of the womb with a wallet full of cash!" Huddah said.

She also expressed her desire to be able to spend quality time with her children, teaching them and providing for their needs without worrying about their future.

"I want to raise my legs on top of the table and breastfeed my baby for 2 years straight! Or until they get tired?" Huddah said.

Published on October 24, 2019, Huddah's comments have sparked a heated debate on social media, with some women agreeing with her and others criticizing her for being too harsh.
